One number, and it only applies when work is finished and paid for. No subscriptions, no listing fees, and nothing taken from a quote you do not win.
Posting a job is free. Receiving quotes is free. You pay the price you agreed with your professional, and not one naira more. There is no booking fee, no service charge and no subscription.
Joining is free, and there is no monthly fee. Wrklo takes 5% of a job only when that job is completed and paid. No job, no fee. Quoting for work you do not win costs you nothing.
What ₦50,000 actually looks like
| Price you agree with the customer | ₦50,000 |
|---|---|
| Wrklo fee (5%) | − ₦2,500 |
| Paid into your Wrklo wallet | ₦47,500 |
The customer pays ₦50,000. That is the figure they agreed and the figure they are charged. Wrklo’s share is taken out of that price, never added on top of it.
From the customer’s card to your bank account
- 01
The customer pays, and the money waits
The money leaves the customer’s card and is held. It does not go to the professional yet, and Wrklo does not spend it.
- 02
The work is done and confirmed
The professional marks the job finished. The customer confirms it. If the customer does not respond, the job closes automatically after the countdown shown in the app, so a professional is never left unpaid because someone stopped replying.
- 03
The money reaches their wallet
Wrklo takes its 5% and the rest lands in the professional’s Wrklo wallet.
- 04
The professional withdraws to their bank
Withdrawals go to the bank account in the professional’s own verified name. Wrklo does not charge for a withdrawal; your bank may apply its own transfer charge.
Straight answers
Is there a fee to post a job?
No. Posting, receiving quotes and messaging a professional are all free for customers.
Is there a subscription for professionals?
No. There is no joining fee, no listing fee and no monthly charge. The only fee is 5% of a job you actually complete and get paid for.
Is there a smallest job Wrklo will handle?
Yes. The smallest job is ₦3,000. Below that, the bank charges for holding and sending the money eat too much of it to be worth anyone's time.
Who pays for materials?
Materials are agreed between you and your professional and are part of the price you approve. Wrklo does not select, supply or inspect materials.
What happens to my money if the job goes wrong?
While the money is still held, it cannot be released without your confirmation. If you and your professional disagree, either of you can raise a dispute and the funds stay frozen until it is resolved. How much can be refunded on a particular job is shown to you before you pay.
How the holding, confirmation and dispute machinery works is set out on the safety and trust page.
No fee to find out.
Post a job and see what local professionals quote. It costs nothing either way.
