Letting a stranger into your home is a real risk and no app removes it completely. Here is what Wrklo does about it, and the parts you still have to judge for yourself.

Four things that are always true

We check who they really are

Every professional gives us their National Identification Number, and we check it against the government records rather than taking their word for it. The name and photograph come back from the government, not from the person applying.

They take a photo of themselves, there and then

The app opens their camera and the photo they take is compared with the one the government holds. They cannot upload an old picture from their phone instead.

Your money waits until you say so

Your payment is held and only released when you confirm the work is done. Nobody can take your money and vanish, because when they walk out of your house the money is still not theirs.

Everything about the job is saved

Messages, prices, photos and every change to the job are saved. If you disagree about something later, the record is already there. Nobody has to argue from memory.

When something goes wrong

    Either side can raise it

    A dispute is not a customer-only tool. A professional who has done the work and cannot get a response can raise one too.

    The money freezes

    While a dispute is open the money does not move at all. Not to the professional, and not back to the customer.

    Both sides put their evidence in

    There is a fixed window for each side to add photographs and explanation before anyone at Wrklo makes a decision.

    A decision, and a right to appeal

    A Wrklo reviewer decides based on the record. Whoever the decision goes against has a further window to appeal it.

How much of a job can be refunded depends on how long the professional has worked on Wrklo and how well. The amount for your job is shown before you pay. The full rules are in the terms of use.

What Wrklo does not cover

We do not choose or inspect materials

Your professional selects what to buy and where. Wrklo is not the seller of those materials and does not vouch for them. Agree exactly what is being bought before work starts.

We do not set prices

The price is between you and the professional. Wrklo does not decide what a job should cost and does not judge a quote as fair or unfair.

Verification is identity, not competence

A verified badge means we confirmed this is a real person whose face matches their government record. It does not mean they are good at the job. Read their ratings, ask questions, and ask to see photos of work they have done before.

Protection ends when you leave the platform

If you pay in cash or send a transfer outside Wrklo, none of this applies. There is no money being held for you to dispute, and no record for anyone here to read.

Four habits that keep you covered

  • Keep the chat, the price and the photos inside Wrklo. That record is what protects you.
  • Never pay outside the app, however the request is framed.
  • Confirm the job only once you have actually inspected the work.
  • Report anyone who asks you to move off the platform, using the report control in the chat.
